GREEN TECHNOLOGY

Students are exposed to comparing & contrasting various lamp types furnished throughout the classroom:  halogen, CFL, LED, tubular LEDs.  We also investigate the virtues & setbacks of solar energy via our classroom's solar/electrical system, which is tied back into the grid & designed for on-line computer data reports.     The topics addressed include clean energy generation from alternative sources, such as renewable solar & wind.         This is made possible thru the kind generosity of those such as  Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation , RUST-OLEUM  &  PLASKOLITE, INC. .
