Get to know Mr. Linden.

I was born & raised in Chicago, not far from Wrigley Field, home of the
Chicago Cubs.  As a child, I had a tragic experience with electricity, swearing to never work near or with it again.  Well, never say never, as I later completed a 4 year Journeyman Electrician apprenticeship, furthered by  earning a Master License.

Later graduating from the   University of Illinois, Urbana with a degree in Bioengineering, I worked as an electrical estimator / project manager, value engineering & managing mulitple projects totaling in the millions of dollars.  After a series of company closures & buy-outs, I changed careers, to endeavor  -in 2006- as the electric shop teacher for  Dundee - Crown  High School .   My responsibility as teacher became more than just a vocation; it became a mission to live up to my word.  I invite you to peruse our web site & share the passion that has made us a success.  Also, feel free to send me a comment from our Home Page, or to just give me a call.
Lane Tech. High School  of Chicago was where I first formally learned of electricity.  I treasure my experience at Lane Tech., as it is recognized as a school of prestige, a school of honor to attend.  Nevertheless, I felt that the electricity course had much room for improvement.  I remember thinking that “should I ever aspire to be an electric shop teacher”-also thinking this to never occur- “my program would excel.”  Well again, never say never.
